Puck Smart Inc. has worked with the Brooks Bandits of the BCHL as a skills coach for the past 12 seasons. The journey to successful hockey skills coach began 25 years ago when we started our Puck Smart Hockey Schools in Cranbrook, BC and Crowsnest Pass Alberta 1999 -2003. As a school teacher Kevin Yellowaga started one of the first Hockey Canada Skills Academies in Alberta in 2004. His coaching expertise led him to the Team Alberta Program of Excellence, coaching in the summers from 2004-2008. Puck Smart Hockey Development has enjoyed success in Calgary, Alberta ever since making the move to Calgary in 2008 where he started with the National Sport Academy.

We offer Private sessions as well as a wide range of Elite Hockey Skill Development Camps. Specialty Skills Sessions Include: Checking, Fwd/D skills, Shooting, Puck control and edge-work. Puck Smart works on advanced skills and skills that separate. They attack the skills that most players have never been exposed to. Challenging them outside of their comfort zone and developing stronger motor programs to call upon in game situations.

Puck Smart is unique in that we have several players from our development program that have only worked with Puck Smart from the youngest of ages right through to drafting to the NHL.
